We offer a variety of evaluations and tests which are designed to help us better understand your body’s unique circumstances and needs. If your symptoms point to suspicions of certain conditions, we have the technology to determine which diagnoses would be right for your needs and the skill to provide all requisite care in-house. These are a few of the testing types you may experience in an exam with us. If you have any questions or concerns about the evaluative portion of your visit(s) with us, please don’t hesitate to call or stop by!
We use a percutaneous blood test to determine which stimuli – if any – are causing you an allergic reaction. Typically, people who harbor “cold-like” symptoms a majority of the time, or at certain times, find that they are allergic to some allergen which presents itself routinely in the patients’ lives. These symptoms might include runny nose, itchy eyes, eye watering, stuffy sinuses, sore throat, and more. Also – usually more obviously – if a person is experiencing anaphylactic symptoms such as tightening of the airway, chest pain, skin rash, or hives, he or she may be dangerously allergic to an allergen in his or her immediate surroundings.
This detailed blood test will provide results within 5 days. We can determine food allergies, especially, which are perhaps the most essential as they cause their reaction internally rather than externally. An allergy to food you eat might cause traditional “food poisoning” symptoms or may result in rash or hives, even shortness of breath. Our experts will help you to determine which food(s) you are allergic to and how to remove those safely from your home and diet.
We offer nerve testing, electromyography, and ultrasound testing. These tests can analyze delicate internal processes such as whether or not your nerves are executing proper delivery of motor and sensory information to your spine. We will conduct this test before and after our initial exam. We also run all bodily fluid testing (blood, urine, and so forth) here on-site for a more comprehensive and concise result-determination.
Could you have Peripheral Arterial Disease? (PAD)
Here’s a better question! Do any of the following descriptors fit you??
I have a family history of heart attack and/or stroke
I smoke or use tobacco, or did so for a period of years in my life
I am 65 years of age, or older
I have diabetes, pre-diabetes, or am a candidate for diabetes
I have high blood pressure which is or is not managed with medication
I have high cholesterol which is or is not managed with medication
I am overweight, obese, or have a weight which fluctuates above a healthy level
I am bedridden or live a mostly sedentary lifestyle
If any ONE of the statements above is true of you, you may want to obtain Vascular Testing
This test option is noninvasive and can help us determine if PAD is something you should be aware of for yourself
What is Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)?
As we like (dislike) to put it here, PAD is a walking time bomb! This is a disease which gives its sufferers 5x the likelihood of dying from heart attack or stroke. This risk even grows for patients who are also diabetic. In the USA alone, 8-12 million people live with PAD. Shouldn’t you determine if you’re one of them??
